Satisfaction

Attaining satisfaction is mostly a worldly distraction,
it can be an infraction on one’s peace of mind.

Chasing, chasing, gaining only things that can’t stand
the test of time…always elusive, that feeling we hoped
to find.

So what of this exhausting race we daily face?
Give it up.
Satisfaction cannot be found in things.
Finding peace within ourselves and in our
loved ones, knowing we are part of a greater power
is what tunes our heart strings.

Too many fail to see, that is from man-made
“satisfaction guaranteed” that our minds need to be freed.
True satisfaction can only come when love and contentment
are the seed.
