Wandering hearts

I wish to leave here with you,
I wish to get lost with you.
So let’s summon all of our courage
to follow what is true.

Hand in hand filled with wanderlust,
I want to grow my roots in the heart
of you, my handsome wayfarer.

The roads less traveled will be ours to explore,
Until we have kissed on every distant shore.

The secrets carried on the wind will be ours to share.
Our spirits can wax and wane with the moon on the tallest
of mountains without a care.

I wish to leave here with you,
I wish to get lost with you.

Good ending. I always love when people use the word “wanderlust”. A very nice post.

Thank you! It’s one of my favorite words, next to attraversiamo which means to crossing over or passing through in Italian 🙂
